Team

A multi-disciplinary and complementary action is required for achievement of the project research goals. For that reason the project should associate different areas of competence including chemistry, physics, materials science, advanced characterization. The consortium of the present project is carefully built-up with teams that have demonstrated set of expertise and experience recognized at the international level in their relevant area.

Institute of electrochemistry and energy systems team is highly qualified in the fields of chemistry and physical chemistry of different types of materials:

Institute for physical chemistry have great experience in the usage of various physical methods in the chemistry. The team performs a regular service work for IPC and also individual scientific tasks on the synthesis and characterization of new materials. They keep good contacts with foreign scientific centers (Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin) in which can be used the most advanced technologies for the study of new materials such as small angle scattering (SAXS), X-ray computer tomography (X-ray computed tomography (X- ray CT)) and large family of X-ray diffraction experiments (XRD, HTXRD, GIXRD, Low Angle XRD).

University of chemical technology and metallurgy team is highly qualified in the field of condensed matter physics. Researchers from the laboratory "Physics and Technology of thin films" have many years of experience in the field of physics of thin films-electrical, optical, thermal and mechanical properties of oxide and non-oxide materials and various nanostructured components. Bulk glassy materials-oxides and chalcogenides have been synthesized and thin films have been deposited by vacuum thermal evaporation and laser stimulated deposition. The direct and thermally stimulated conductivity of glasses have been studied.
